Hello there. It’s a pleasure to have you around again. Previously, I shared with you something on accepting the call to lead as one of the great mandate Christ gave in (A Call From the Bush) using Moses as a major example. Today, I’ll continue the discussion on why we should obey the call, I have titled this DO IT!

In our changing world, many are recognizing God’s call to minister in a variety of different capacities be it in schools, hospitals, prisons, legislative houses, entertainment industries, offices etc. not just behind pulpits. Everyone is choosing a particular vocation and carrying out each ministry as God directs.

Dear Purple Reader, if you’ve been called, trust me you have nothing to fear, God equips us and helps us fulfill this call. Your age, disability, racial, or social status should not hinder you from doing what you’re called to as God’s call is all encompassing. You’ll recall that Abraham was 75 when he left Haran and that’s pretty old. Samuel was about 12 years old and that’s pretty young too. Beloved, the call of God knows no bound.

If God calls you and says to you to leave, sweet heart, you should leave right away. When God leads you in, He’ll help you out:

Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion… [Phillipians 1:6]

It is pertinent to know that God will never force you to do something you don’t have the ability to do. But, whatever He does ask you to do, will be just good for you. God will always give you the divine enablement and the anointing for that call when it is time for it to be birthed. There are blessings and fulfillment attached to answering God’s call. God promises thus if we obey Him:

… But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’

When a man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord, He makes even his enemies live at peace with him.

But to the disobedient He says:

They did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and the stubbornness of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward.
[Jeremiah 7:24]

Dear Purple Reader, all I’m saying is, everything you need to be great, prosperous, famous, wealthy, is in your calling. If you feel God calling you to do a particular task, don’t hesitate, DO IT! Eventually, you will be rewarded abundantly.
